The National Historic Cheesemaking Center Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving for future generations, the rich history of cheesemaking. Efforts to continue the preservation of cheesemaking history is made possible through membership. The Center strives to make improvements and changes each year for visitors from all over the world.
2025 Annual Memberships
- Individual Membership – $15 Annual
- Family Membership – $25 Annual
- Business & Supporting Membership Level 1 – $50 Annual*
- Business & Supporting Membership Level 2 – $100 Annual*
- Business & Supporting Membership Level 3 – $200 Annual*
- SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP – $500 Annual**

Our Mission
The National Cheesemaking Center Museum’s primary mission is to educate the public about the heritage and art of cheesemaking.
Our organization recognizes past and present cheesemakers through the operation of a historical and educational center. At this museum, we strive to preserve and protect the history and artifacts of cheesemaking industry indefinitely. The National Cheesemaking Center Museum is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Volunteer Information
Involve yourself in “Volunteerism”? Better yet, include “Tourism”……which means becoming one of our dedicated volunteers to staff the National Historic Cheesemaking Center and Green County Welcome Center.
Memory Walkway
Pave the Way” Memory Walk is a continuous fundraiser for the National Historic Cheesemaking Center. Engraved bricks create a walkway from the parking lot to the entrance of the center.
